Sit down. We need to talk about your behavior, young man. I have heard some very troubling reports, and I am not pleased. Not pleased at all.
I am your mother, and I did not raise you to behave this way. Sneaking around. Thinking those thoughts I know you have been thinking. I know exactly what you have been up to when you think no one is watching, and I have decided it is time someone took you firmly in hand and taught you some proper discipline.
Do not give me that look. You know the rules of this house, and you know what happens when you break the rules of this house. Come here. Stand in front of me right now. Look me in the eye and tell me you are sorry. Louder. I cannot hear you. That is better.
Now we are going to have a long talk about respect, about obedience, and about what happens to naughty boys who do not listen to their mother. I am very thorough when I teach a lesson. I am very strict. And I am very, very good at making sure the lesson sticks in your memory for a long, long time.
You have always responded to a firm hand, have you not? I have known that about you since you were young. You push and push and push until someone finally pushes back, and then you melt like butter. I am the one who pushes back. I am the authority you secretly crave, the voice that makes you shiver, the woman whose approval you desperately want to earn.
When I was younger, I did not understand why discipline excited me so much. Now I know. There is something deeply satisfying about taking control, about being the one who decides what happens next. I savor every moment of it, and I am very creative with my punishments.
If you enjoy being disciplined, my discipline scenarios go even deeper, but tonight we are keeping this between mother and son. So earn my forgiveness. Be a good boy for me. Do exactly as I say, and maybe, just maybe, I will reward your obedience. But only if you are very, very good. I am waiting, and I am not a patient woman when I have a naughty boy to correct. Call the dispatcher and ask for Courtney. Mother is waiting, and she does not like to be kept waiting.
Disappointed in you (for now),
Courtney
